It's the last quarter of Second Grade, and it's almost June!  How did that happen?  You can find a few highlights of whats coming up under the tab "Calendar".   Please make sure your child is getting enough sleep each night.  This is the season of standardized testing, and although we don't do EOG, we do have a cumulative math assessment, reading/writing assessment and a foundational number knowledge test.  I'm proud of the many accomplishments I see in the class, but I'd like to see everyone really work to improve their written responses to what they've read. Please encourage reading and responding every night. Remember: NO SCHOOL on next Monday for Memorial Day. Happy 4th Quarter!
